Commissioning

Get the most out of your installation with commissioning by itsme

Imagine having a brand-new machine on your production floor. Ready to make a powerful contribution to your processes. The parameterisation ensures it can operate. But who makes sure it actually performs — and performs optimally — without start-up issues or unnecessary downtime?

Leave that to us. With commissioning by itsme Industrial Automation, our specialists ensure your installation is up and running quickly, safely and efficiently. No guesswork, no delays, just certainty and performance from day one.

What does commissioning involve?

1. Preparation and on-site inspection

  • Checking whether all components have been installed correctly by the customer/installer

  • Verifying that all connections (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.) are correct

  • Assessment of the working environment and boundary conditions (such as temperature, power supply, safety provisions)

2. Adjustment and configuration

  • Setting parameters (pressure, speed, time, temperature, software configuration, etc.)

  • Calibrating sensors, control systems and measuring instruments

  • Uploading software or programs if required

3. Testing and trial run

  • Carrying out functional tests

  • Checking correct operation, safety and error messages

  • Monitoring performance (is the system operating as intended?)

4. Instruction and handover to the customer

  • Providing instructions to operators or technical staff

  • Handing over documentation (manuals, diagrams, settings)

  • Supporting operations during the first working day(s) if required

5. Reporting

  • Documenting the commissioning: what has been done, what settings were applied, were there any special remarks?

  • Any deviations or recommendations are recorded

Why commissioning by itsme?

An installation that is correctly connected is not automatically ready to perform at its best. At itsme, we understand that the difference lies in the details: properly adjusted parameters, a safe start-up, and a smooth handover to your team. That’s why we go beyond technical support alone. With commissioning by itsme, you benefit from:

Technical certainty from the very first minute

Our specialists combine in-depth product knowledge with hands-on experience. They know exactly how your system should be configured to run safely and stably from the start. This helps you prevent start-up issues and unnecessary downtime.

Efficiency and speed

We align the commissioning with your schedule. Thanks to thorough on-site preparation and a clear estimate of the time required, we minimise production loss. Your installation is ready for use in a short time.

Optimal settings for maximum performance

Our experts ensure that parameters, software and settings are fully aligned with your application. The result: less wear, lower energy consumption and fewer malfunctions — and more return on your investment.

Instruction for your team

During commissioning, we take the time to explain to your operators or technical staff how the system works. We provide guidance on settings, safety aspects and documentation, so you can continue independently.

Clear reporting

You receive a clear report of all work carried out, including measurement data, configurations and recommendations. This gives you a documented basis for future maintenance or expansion at all times.

Low costs, high returns

The investment in commissioning is relatively limited, especially compared to the costs of malfunctions, rework or inefficient use. It also extends the service life of your installation and reduces the risk of production loss.
