Leuze - The complete family: fully stainless steel series of optical sensors for packaging and filling lines!

Extreme cleaning in meat and fish processing, at breweries and other filling plants; basically anywhere where hygiene is a major part of a (packaging) process and yet still reliable detection with optical sensors? That's nothing new for Leuze.

In fact, if this is what is required:

  • Resistant to high-pressure cleaning
  • Rapid and significant temperature changes during cleaning
  • Short cleaning intervals, high concentrations and long reaction times of various cleaning agents ...

Leuze is right at home!

Not so long ago, Leuze modernised the miniature Series 53C and 55C. Now a completely new and comprehensive family in a compact design is being added: the 35C and 55C Series in washdown and hygiene design.

There are many similarities between the two series, such as high density (IP67/68 and 69K), mechanical resistance (V4A/AISI316L), certification according to cleaning agent suppliers (Ecolab, Diversey and additionally with Leuze Cleanproof+!).

Leuze goes one step further with greater distances, all conceivable optical variants, and POWER PINPOINT variants. IO Link is standard, as are many connection technologies (M8, M12, pigtail).

The 35C is sufficient for most applications; the 33C Series can offer a solution in the most sensitive situations with its 12 mm gas-tight seal.

Take advantage of the combined strengths of Itsme and Leuze: we will help you find the right solution for your problem!

    Leuze - LiDAR-technology
The ROD100 can detect objects in a two-dimensional plane using a very compact, built-in plane scanner. This switching sensor is part of a complete family of LiDAR sensors. It recognises one or more objects at distances of up to 25 metres and is also ideal for use as collision protection, for example on overhead cranes. It makes no difference to the sensor whether it is used at the top of a warm factory hall or in a deep-freeze environment.

Plukon - Scanning for the future
The Plukon poultry slaughterhouse in Blokker has installations from all kinds of machine builders and suppliers. Each of these has its own control system and associated components from different brands. This situation has developed over time, with the result that Plukon lost track of the overall picture. When it became clear that many components were now obsolete, the company decided to have itsme carry out a FactoryScan. ‘This gives us more peace of mind and helps us to better plan the replacement of components for the future.’
